How do I join an event?
Scan the host's QR code or enter the 6-digit code in the app under "Join event". No account needed – just your name.
How do I create an event?
Download the app, tap "Create event" and choose a theme plus your photo challenges. You can try Schnappschuss once with a free test game and then pick a guest package that fits your group size.
My purchase isn't working – what should I do?
Make sure you're signed in with your Apple ID or Google account and have a valid payment method on file. Also check your internet connection. If the problem persists, write to us at support@schnappschuss.app.
Can I add more participants later?
Yes. As a host you can purchase an upgrade package during a live event under "Participants" to increase the maximum guest count.
How long does an event stay active?
Once you start your event it runs for 24 hours. During that time guests can upload photos and give likes. After that, uploads are no longer possible but the gallery stays visible.
Are photos saved permanently?
Photos are stored on our servers only for the duration of the event and are automatically deleted afterwards. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do guests need the app?
Yes, the app is available for free on iOS and Android. Guests don't need an account – just download, scan the QR or enter the code and play.
